Foundations is a 5 week series of classes that will introduce you to the foundations of yoga and the foundational poses. Yoga has become associated with the physical postures here in the West, but it is part of a greater tradition that includes breath practice, mantra, mudras, and philosophy. Runs Mondays 7 pm EST until March 1, 2021

How to get in, sustain and get out of basic yoga postures used during a vinyasa flow class
How to connect breath to movement
How to play with postures

The person new to yoga and uncomfortable with a flow class
The person wanting to learn variations to basic postures to fit their personal practice
The person with an established practice who wants to break the postures down to understand them better
Any one who is interested in connecting with themselves and Yoga
